Records Requests/Billing
DATES AND PLACES AT WHICH
PUBLIC RECORDS MAY BE OBTAINED
The public may obtain access to or copies of the Southern Ozaukee Fire and EMS Department’s public records by making an oral or written request of the Fire Chief, or his/her designee, during regular business hours, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Written requests may be made to Fire Chief David Bialk, 11300 N Buntrock Ave., Mequon WI 53092.
The SOFD charges $.25 per page for each copy made. There will be an additional fee for location costs if the costs are $50.00 or more. Additional charges may be added as required to cover the costs of complying with the request. Requests which exceed a total of $5.00 may require prepayment. All requests will be processed as soon as practicable and without delay.
If the Fire Chief is not present, information and access to records may be obtained from Deputy Fire Chief, who is authorized to act as legal custodian in the Fire Chief’s absence.
